SD42 announces appointments in International Education

The Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows School District (No. 42) is pleased to announce the following appointments within our International Education department:

  • Tricia McCuaig is appointed to vice principal International Education and English Language Learners (ELL). Tricia’s portfolio includes international students’ academics and support, operations of the International Education office, Homestay Department and ELL program.
  • Marguirete (Maggie) Pearce is appointed to manager, marketing and recruitment. In this role, Maggie is responsible for overseeing and implementing the marketing and recruitment for SD42’s International Education program.
  • Mindy Pei is appointed assistant manager, marketing, recruitment and cultural programs. Mindy will help with marketing and recruitment for SD42’s International Education program and coordinate all cultural programs.  Mindy is new to the District, joining us on September 19th, and coming from the International Education program at Douglas College.
  • Finally, as a part of her portfolio, assistant secretary treasurer Monica Schulte will oversee the business/financial operations of International Education Department.

These appointments reflect the new structure of the International Education Department, which was approved by the Board of Education in spring, 2016.
