Our short-term summer cultural programs are designed to introduce international students to ‘Canadian West Coast culture’ with English as a Second Language instruction as well as recreational adventures and tours of exciting attractions around beautiful British Columbia.
The cultural programs offer a wide variety of excursions unique to our geographical area; activities for both outgoing adventurers and beginners trying the outdoor experience for the first time.
All of our cultural programs focus on learning, leadership, and Canadian culture, and they are offered in the months of July and August from 1-3 weeks in duration for students aged 13 to 18. Both individuals and groups can apply to these programs.
Each activity is fully chaperoned and all necessary equipment and instruction is provided. For the duration the program, students live in approved homestays with pre-screened Canadian host families. Program coordinators monitor the students’ stay.
